Aquadaf: rapid flotation

Aquadaf is the only rapid flotation system for the production of potable water that is also able to treat peaks in turbidity.

A high-speed flotation unit, Aquadaf™ was developed from a process created by Rictor and works at speeds unmatched by conventional flotation units.

The patented perforated floor creates a bed of bubbles one to two meters high, which accounts for the high speeds produced by this technology. When air bubbles and floc become attached through coalescence or agglomeration, the microbubbles can travel at speeds of  up to 30 or 40 meters per hour.

Uniquely engineered for clarifying lightly laden water that may present occasional peaks of turbidity, and capable of treating even very cold water, the Aquadaf™ is very simple to operate due to its instant start-up and shut-down.
